The rub? Maybe this is putting the cart before the horse, but, I don't think so. You have to cast the audio. Somehow or someway. Here is an insert of the audio, which will stream with this flash player button. Here I talk about my church website offering with Church Website Creator. Try it.

Website propagation today, in many ways, has become automated. So automated that in moving from one to the other the draw from the entry can be samo-samo. Which means the USP or unique selling proposition (often first impression or the WOW factor) is lost entirely. Now, the WOW can be simple. I like simple. That mens that someone has spent time to create the greatest relevance with the least expenditure of energy. It all revolves around where you plan to go. My inclination is to gravitate toward simpler, best practice, relevance with ease of updating tools to stamp fresh on a website. My intent is to offer multiple ways for you to understand these principles. Audio will be a big part of this. Stay tuned.I spend alot of time tweaking my home church website. The FRESH principle. You will probably find me THERE.
WOW. I haven't blogged on this platform for quite awhile. About time that I got back to it. It has been steady as it goes with the use of multi-media in the sites that I maintain for the long haul. That includes the website for our church, St. John's United Church of Christ - www.tiffinucc.org - but, till, need to come back and blog on this great platform. So, you will see more. Especially with the election heating up and the local need for passing a school levy in Tiffin. Even, with a passage in March, 2012, the cuts required will make transportation to the schools a nightmare. As investors in the future, we need to make some decisions that go beyond the gotta-tighten-our-belts mantra. Our students aren't competing with Fostoria, They are in completion with China. Get real folks. .

PlayList on Amazon _ Although often noted as a Christmas or holiday song, Winter Wonderland lyrics speak to neither except a reference to sleigh-bells. Other notes of interest. First published in 1934. Music by Felix Bernard (1897-1944). Lyricist Dick Smith (1901-1935). Most popular versions of this song recorded by Guy Lombardo's orchestra, Johnny Mercer, the Andrews Sisters and Perry Como. In the mid-50's the moral police offered a substitute verse for "Parson" replacing with "clown" although that bit of revisionist history spoke poorly to the parson role in rural areas of the country. You will hear versions with either verse and some with both. Would like to say that "Parson Brown" was the minister at the Grace Episcopal Church, Honesdale, PA which Dick attended, but, not - his boyhood minister was Rev. A. L. Whittaker. More coming about the author of and about this tune in a short. The story is spell-binding, even tragic. December 19, 2010.
John Lennon, a founding member of The Beatles, known for his subsequent solo career, and for his political activism would have been 70 years old this year. He was shot by Mark David Chapman at the entrance of the building where he lived, The Dakota, in New York City. Lennon had just returned from Record Plant Studio with his wife, Yoko Ono. What were you doing on Wednesday, December 8, 1980? Hard to believe it has been thirty years.Lennon's murderer, Mark David Chapman, was denied parole for the sixth time (since becoming eligible in 2000) by a three-member panel of the New York State Parole Board Commissioners conducted a video conference interview with Chapman from their offices in Rochester.
The 90th district has been represented by one-party rule for over 40 years. That is a real kicker. I switched car name-plates more often than that. Especially when one manufacturer forgot how to make them. The 90th district which includes Knox county needs some new ideas. John has them. He has lived in Gambier and practiced as an attorney for over twenty years. Read his ideas and talking points at ryerson.knoxcountyohio.net AND www.johnryerson.com. A link to a Mount Vernon News article is especially good. He deserves your vote because you deserve the best. November 2nd vote John Ryerson as if your future depended on it. I have lived in Ohio nearly all my life. And, Knox county for nearly 30 years. It does.
The One Blind Guy is William Brandes. But, you can contribute too. That link is at the top. But, you have to register first. You can only register through E-mail. See the particulars on the Home Page..
How does the One Blind Guy do it? Well, the desktop is my oyster. This section (Creating/Editing Video) is new. I am working with some great software to edit and convert my digital camcorder files from MOV HQ to AVI, WMV and SWF Flash. I will write more at a later date. However, there are a few possibilities as to hosting your video that are FREE. One is You Tube. I have CREATED an EMBED of an advertisement for First Congregational United Church of Christ, Mount Vernon, OH. Another, is Vimeo. And, another would be to load your videos on Facebook. All allow for copy/paste embedding of video content on your webpage.
Someone has to convince me. I said last December that Tiger should take the year off and get his life together. He is now floundering. Why? Because his mind is not on the game. He might think the opposite. But, Tiger is only fooling himself. No one else. His scoring proves it. Lack of a swing coach proves it. Remaining in the game when his play is sour proves it. In Tiger's first round at Firestone last week, Tiger hit only five fairways in a wayward driving performance and the rest of his game was just as bad finishing the day ahead of only eight players. It was his worst score by two strokes in 45 competitive rounds at Firestone. Tiger said "It's frustrating, because I warmed up well and my practice sessions at home were good. Today was not indicative of how I've been playing." Are you aware of the words transference and rationalization? Does not indicate? Tiger does not need a swing coach. He needs a life coach. If Tiger isn't listening maybe you should. There are more important things than your job. Gee. Tiger has the cushion to get it together. Not like alot of us. Grow up Tiger. I watched Friday and Saturday. There is no way that anyone can tell me that Tiger Woods has a game that should be out on the PGA tour. Of couse, we can play the blame game. It's the driving or its the putting. But, there is no way this could be fun. It won't translate into winning on the business side or family side let alone the golf side. He is now a good golfer chasing buried demons. He will have to shoot AT LEAST FOURTEEN UNDER on SUNDAY to have a chance. What a sad ending to a great career.
Saw Ann Rice on CNN this evening. A fiction writer talking fiction. She says that nowhere in the Bible can she justify the teachings of the church although leaving the church with a CAP "C" and I guess not paying much attention to those churches that do not dis-welcome a whole host of folks or have a HIGH barrier to the table. Her read of the Bible is correct. But, her read of the Theological landscape is not. Shame. Considering her influence. Maybe it is just a ploy to build up sinking sales. Or, is in need of de-programming? What ya think? Perhaps just because you write books does not necessarily translate into making well based decisions. You has never heard of Jim Wallis? The United Church of Christ? The Episcopal Church? Cathedral of Hope? Anne. Do yourself a favor. More research. I am not being superfluous. For your sake. So, you don't make a fool of yourself on national TV. Again. For in your monologue against the Christian church you always referred to "Christ" not Jesus. You might not be aware that "Christ" is, in the main, a theological construct. Give it another try. That is if your are really doing this for the right reasons. And, not for attention. For, of course, if you want to make a stir, just talk about SEX, POLITICS or RELIGION. The KINKIER the better. Pssssst. Anne. You have alot of demons to conquer. And, they ain't vampires.
